Childhood
Young Stuart Tusspot was born in Hetfordshire, England on May 23rd, 1978 to Rachel
and David Tusspot. Du to the ridcule David Tusspot recieved because of his humiliting last name, it was then shortened to
"Pot" shortly after Stuarts birth. (Hence the nickname "Stu-Pot") Stuart, growing up was not a very bright boy with an I.
Q. of about 26, due to serveral head injuries as a baby. Fortunatly he grew up loving music. He is addicted to painkillers
which were provided by his mother who was a nurse. Stu was known to be very accident-prone. He injured both himself and
others due to stupidity and clumsiness. His hair changed to a strange azure blue color after falling out of a tree
when his natural brown hair fell out. After crushing his piano teacher's hand on a piano, he and his family were forced to
move to West Sussex to hide their shame.
Joining Gorillaz
At the age of 19, Stuart recieved a job at Uncle Norm's Organ Emporium. It was
on Aughust 15, 1997, that Gorillaz was taking its first steps. While there one day, the most unexpected thing to happen to
anyone, happened. The vehicle of trouble maker Murdoc Niccals, crashed in through the store window and crashed directly into Stu, taking out ne of his
eyes. Well not literally, but the crash left a horrible fracture on his eye that made it super-dialated. Now, dazed and confused
while in the back seat of Murdoc's car, he was flung through the air when Murdoc attenpted a 360 spin to impress some girls
and Stu hit the curb and his other eye was dented.
Now, with both eyes taken out, and completly vegetablized, Stu was dragged back
to murdoc Niccals' "home" and was forced to play one of Murdoc's keyboards. Murdoc came to realization that Stuart was what
he needed.
Stuart developed the nickname "2-D" as an abbreviaton "2 dents" representing
the two dents on his eyes. After Murdoc rounded up hip-hop mastermind Russel Hobbs as their drummer, the last thing need was a guitarist, and 2D knew just the right person at
the time to fill the void, his current girlfriend, Paula Cracker. She was only in the band for a short period of time, though,
due to her hidden affair with Murdoc, which angered Russel, causing him to break Murdoc's nose and giving it a permanant fraxcture,
and Paula was swiftly kicked out of the band.
The band was at a point of giving up until a little japanese girl, who was called
"Noodle" by the members of the band, became their guitarist. The band was complete.
Notability
2D is known as the voaclist of the band Gorillaz which is really provided by
lead singer of Blur, Damon Albarn. 2D's vocals are most notable in Gorillaz smash hit "Feel Good Inc", but the same vocal
style can be familiarized in Blur's "Song 2" as 2D's "vocalization" as well. 2D has sung lead on every Gorillaz song, expect
for "Dare" which is sung by Noodle or Rosie Wilson
